October Increase in Potential Reach Tops September’s 5% Jump

 

NEW YORK, December XX, 2011 – Touchstorm, the premier source for online video distribution and content development, today announced that the reach of its editorial distribution network continues to rapidly grow with a 12.6% increase in potential views in October 2011 from the previous month. Touchstorm grew faster than the total Internet audience, which grew 2.2%. The latest boost brings Touchstorm’s network total U.S. viewership potential to 37.5 million, according to the most recent comScore figures.

Touchstorm experienced continued growth among the overall adult population with an increase of viewership among the 18-34 and the 18-49 demographic groups of 13.3% and 12% respectively. In addition to continued overall growth, Touchstorm’s viewership within the 18-34 and the 18-49 women demographic groups represented an increase of, 19.4% and 15.8% respectively. Consumers with a household income of over $75,000 are a growth area for Touchstorm as viewership within the demographic climbed 11.8%.

The viewership of Touchstorm’s consumer-facing Howdini Guru video channel on YouTube, increased by 17.4% within the women’s demographic in October. With the increased views, Howdini now ranks in the top 10% YouTube’s video partners and remains within the top 15% of the Entertainment Mulitmedia Report.
