September Increase in Potential Reach Tops August’s 4% Jump

 

NEW YORK, November 15, 2011 – Touchstorm, the premier source for online video distribution and content development, today announced that the reach of its editorial distribution network continues its rapid growth with a 5% increase in September 2011 from the previous month. The latest boost brings Touchstorm’s network total U.S. viewership potential to 33.3 million, according to the most recent comScore figures.

Touchstorm experienced continued growth among the overall adult population with an increase of viewership among the 18-34 and the 18-49 demographic groups of 2.8% and 5.5% respectively. In addition to continued overall growth, Touchstorm’s viewership within the 18-34 and the 18-49 male demographic groups represented an increase of, 7.5% and 9.7% respectively. Consumers with a household income of over $75,000 are a growth area for Touchstorm as viewership within the demographic climbed 5%.

The viewership of Touchstorm’s consumer-facing Howdini Guru video channel on YouTube, increased by 10% in the month of September, resulting in 446,000 unique views, measured by comScore. With the increased views, Howdini now ranks 220th out of YouTube’s 1,446 video partners and moved up 42 spots within the Entertainment Mulitmedia Report.
