With more than ten years experience in the advertising, financial, technology and lifestyle industries, Kevin Van Lenten leverages his passion for technology and expertise in finance, media and sales to drive Touchstorm’s advertising revenue and develop publisher relationships.
Kevin first entered the marketing and advertising industry as an account executive for Venture Direct Worldwide before moving into the technology and services industry with online media and technology company Conducive, now Admarketplace. After honing his networking skills, working on contextual targeting and learning the difference between agency and brand sales, Kevin moved to Blue Lithium, an online advertising network where he built account management and sales experience.
From there Kevin held senior sales roles with Exchange Place, an executive search firm, Dow Jones/IAC Online Ventures, FiLife and LearnVest. As vice president of sales for FiLife, an IAC/Dow Jones joint venture, Kevin managed the operational side on behalf of large financial institutions and lifestyle brands including Chase, American Express, Monster and Fidelity. Further preparing him for his current role at Touchstorm, Kevin managed ad revenue and lead generation as Vice President of Sales at LearnVest, a personal finance community that teaches young women about finances through engaging content.
Most recently Kevin served as vice president of business development for Adknowledge, a performance-based marketplace focused on marketing solutions for search engine advertisers and long tail web accessibility. Kevin oversaw multiple channels and team members, strategically driving new business.
As vice president of monetization at Touchstorm, Kevin works to provide engagement for users and monetization for publishers, as he focuses on content, distribution and the conversion of currency as the three integral components in creating a value proposition.
Kevin graduated from Muhlenberg College with a degree in Business and currently lives in North Jersey. In addition to working in largely female-dominated companies, Kevin shares his home with his wife, two daughters and English bulldog Rosey. He is a Jets and Yankees fan.
